Here at Harmons Morels and More Inc. we are dedicated to revitalizing the mycological environment, reconnecting people with nature, and offering educational opportunities for youth and teens. Our mission is to create accessible outdoor experiences that promote sustainability, foster environmental education, and enhance community involvement. Our company brings over a decade of research and innovation in mycology. We have developed an indoor method for growing dozens of morel mushroom species year-round, along with a unique way of re-capturing mushroom spores for sustainable farming. Additionally, we have pioneered the creation of morel-infused trees, garden plants and large scale cash crop morel mushroom pellets which can be used to restore gardens, farm fields and forests. these products are a crucial component of Ohio’s long-term environmental restoration.

Our community outreach

teaming up with local and state parks we set for the creation of small trail or spurs off existing trails designated for mental health and educational mushroom hunting. These trails will feature stations with information on various mushroom species, such as Lions Mane, Reishi, and 12+ different
species of the Morel mushrooms, along with details about their health benefits and role in the ecosystem. These trails will allow the public to safely forage for mushrooms in designated areas, contributing to both environmental education and sustainable foraging practices. By providing
designated mushroom harvesting areas, we can address the current restrictions on off-trail foraging, which are implemented to protect wildlife and ecosystems.

Our outreach program at local schools is set to offer scholarship opportunities for volunteers. By engaging youth in meaningful work, we provide a platform for them to contribute to their community while gaining life skills. Each volunteer who completes 80 hours of service becomes eligible for a scholarship fund, which grows with continued participation. This program blends work with character-building activities, creating a rewarding experience for youth and volunteers alike.

As a company we uphold the biblical principles set fourth by God and we love this world that the Lord gave us. A mission to bring people back to the creations of God, bring people back to Christ and letting our company be a guiding light in a broken world.
